    Liebster Award! (no. 4)

Here is the other Liebster Award that was sitting here idly without being forwarded. Tamie’s Realm kindly nominated me and needless to say, I am very happy about it! As always, nominations – which are winners in WordPress blog terminology – need to follow a few steps when passing on the award. Here are the rules for this particular Liebster Award: 1. Each nominee must link back the person who nominated them. 2. Answer the 10 questions which are given to you by the nominator. 3. Nominate 10 other bloggers for this award who have less than 200 followers. 4. Create 10 questions for your nominees to answer. 5. Let the nominees know that they have been nominated by going to their blog and notifying them.

    Liebster Award (no. 3)!

Desperately behind writing new posts or replies to all your comments, I need to get my proverbial bum in action if I want to start writing properly again. Perfectionism is my middle name, but lately I’ve been slacking, oh yes I have. Allow me to hit myself on the hands in punishment… Ouch… That hurt! The first award I need to send on, was given to me by Willow’s Corner. Do visit her blog because you will not be disappointed. As always, nominations – which are winners in WordPress blog terminology – need to follow a few steps when passing on the award.

    Evil resolutions

Ah, that dreaded question! That thing we all say we will do but never actually make it to the finish line! We’re all creators of almost-standard replies that sound like “This year is the year I will lose 50 pounds of weight!” Or “From January 1st I will stop smoking for good!”

MS Ireland National Meeting Day 2013

Last September, I was invited by the Irish MS Society to take part in a panel discussion at their National Day in Galway. I happily accepted because we all know that I never say no to having a good chat. The topic of the National Day was ‘being active and interactive’, and the panel discussion covered employment, exercise, being online and volunteering. Trevis Gleason, well-known in the MS stratosphere and a new addition to the Irish population, interviewed four people with MS: Grace, Anne-Marie, Mark and myself. These are the videos covering above topics. We were all a bit nervous (no, really?! :)) because of being filmed, but we all did very well.

30 Things about My Invisible Illness You May Not Know

I was sent this list after National Invisible Illness Week ended and asked if I wanted to write about it either way, so here are my answers: 1. The illness I live with is: Multiple sclerosis, the house guest that ends up on your doorstep, invites himself in and never leaves again. 2. I was diagnosed with it in the year: I was diagnosed in 2005, three months before my 32nd birthday

20 things you didn’t (necessarily) know yet

While browsing through the weekend newspapers yesterday, I came across a nice list of questions. I like lists. And I like questions. A female attribute? No doubt. Just for the fun of it, here we go! The book that changed my life: Ulysses by James Joyce, no doubt about it! The quote that keeps me sane: I’m a huge quote lover, so it’s hard deciding but I will use Friedrich Nietzsche once more: “That which does not kill us makes us stronger”
