It’s not just sport. It’s Irish rugby.

Yesterday Ireland saw what the Irish rugby team is capable of when all parameters are right. It turned out to be an emotional day for many since Ireland has never beaten New Zealand. When the 80 minutes of the game were played, Ireland was ahead. But then came the last 90 seconds. Pure joy changed into pure heartache. Still… as a nation, we can be proud of our rugby team because we saw belief, passion, strength and rugby intelligence at work.

Below video shows what rugby means to people in Ireland.

    1. Oh absolutely. If I were biting my nails I wouldn’t have had any fingers left by the end of the game. It was pure magic and I keep watching the game just until the 80th minute. Don’t want to see the heartache again :)

The All Blacks are definitely a different class altogether. It must be something in the NZ air or so. If our lads however can find and keep their mojo for England 2015, who knows what could happen?

  1. What a choker wasn’t it? They played so proudly after not turning up the previous week. Hats off to the Kiwis though – they showed they had big hearts too as well as huge talent.
